General Description

Application:
VIANEN Fecon filters are used in all Vianen canopies, except for those equipped with the Water Wash systems. The filters are designed by Vianen to extract grease from cooking vapours in commercial kitchen ventilation systems. Because of the centrifugal force in the filter the highest grade of grease extraction is created with an efficiency of 95%. The grease collects in the lower part of the filter preventing clogging and maintaining an even extraction over the entire length of the ventilation system.

Fabrication:
VIANEN Fecon filters are constructed from stainless steel type 304. The 36 mm thick filter is constructed without any rivet button and has two integrated handles formed from the surrounding frame. On the top and bottom the filter is 10% open for a good stream out of grease and moist. The easy removable Fecon filters are resistant to aggressive detergents and can be washed in any commercial dishwasher. The filter is flame resistant so that in case of a flash fire it will not penetrate the filter.

Fecon-UV filter:
For canopies equipped with the V-UV-C system (Ultra Violet System) a special Fecon-UV filter has to be used. This 40 mm thick filter consists of a Fecon filter but additional has on the back multiple crosswise stacked layers of stainless steel mesh metal with a UV-C light reflecting covering. 

Technical Details

Description:
The VIANEN Fecon filter is designed to extract grease from cooking vapours in commercial kitchen ventilation systems. The semi-circular channel construction of the filter guarantees the highest attainable grade of grease extraction by creating a centrifugal force in the filter. Due to this the efficiency of the Fecon filter is 95 %. The grease collects in the lowest part of the filter preventing clogging and maintaining an even extraction over the entire length of the ventilation system. In the canopy the easily removable filters are placed at an angle of approximately 45°. The filter is flame resistant so that it case of a flash fire it will not be penetrates.

The 36 mm thick filter is constructed without any rivet button and has two integrated handles formed from the surrounding frame. On the top and bottom the filter is 10% open for a good stream out of grease and moist. The Fecon filters are resistant to aggressive detergents and can be washed in any commercial dishwasher.
